As your wedding day is supposed to be the best day of your life i have got some tips below on how to have your hair on the day:

  • Choose your hair style before you choose your head dress (Veil)
  • Have a few practice goes with your hair dresser so they are entirely comfortable so there are no flaws on the day
  • Keep your color up to date and the cut is done regularly in order to keep your hair looking good

Give yourself plenty of time on the morning of the wedding so if there are any little hitches you can get these rectified easily.

I hear an engagement ring is supposed to cost 2 months wage of the man buying the ring but i am not sure if i agree with that.  Personally i would be happy if the ring was cheap, expensive as long as it was the ring which i really wanted as i am the one wearing it for the rest of my life (Hopefully) so dont want to end up with one that is not to my taste.

I have emailed and left pictures of the ring i want so my boyfriend can either find one in a shop or have one made and a lot of people have told me it seems cheaper if it is made.

The wedding cake is one of the main things in a wedding with the cutting of the cake after the meal so why go for a normal cake when you can get an unusual one.

I know a lot of people go for the traditional tiered cake with the plastic groom and bride on the top but when i get married i want to be totally different and have a chocolate cake as i have jam, fruit cake, sponge cake or anything that is not chocolate.

Go online and see what cakes you can get as there a lots of designs you can pinch and take to your local baker to make yours for a cut down price.

There is nothing worse than your guests standing around in between your ceremony and wedding breakfast so i have been looking at ideas that will keep them entertained until they get to eat.

I went to a few weddings last year and the main thing that kept popping up was to get either a band or a singer and this always seems to be what they do but than i went to my Best Friend’s wedding and she got a carousel, some fire throwers, a candy floss machine and also a ice cream stall (she was going for a old time theme) and this kept people entertained for hours even after the food was served.

I am sure if you actually think about it you can come up with some great ideas and not just go for the same boring ideas as everyone else…

My Auntie is getting married in August this year and she has just told me that she paid £25 for the 2 flower girls dresses and £58 for the 2 bridesmaids dresses.  I was shocked when she told me this but when she told me she got them off ebay i understood a bit more on why she spent so little.

I know there is always the risk of the dresses being marked but she was lucky enough that they just needed a wash and came out mark free.

Another option is to go to a high street shop and get your dresses and suits from there.
Good ones to go to are:

  • Debenhams
  • littlewoods

which ever way you decide to go on your wedding day it does not have to be expensive.

Your wedding day is an exciting experience but couple that with a pregnancy and you have a lot to organise and plan. This doesn’t have to be a nightmare and now there are plenty of options out there and plenty of wedding planners to help.
One of the main issues on your mind will be the wedding dress. Every bride wants the wedding dress of her dreams and this doesn’t have to change because you are expecting a baby. There are many websites now where you can choose from stylish, flattering wedding dresses helping you to feel like a million dollars. All you need to consider, is how far along you will be on the day of your wedding and will the dress allow for any last minute alterations? Most maternity wedding dresses today are beautiful and mean that you don’t have to settle for a choice that is second best. Quite often, if you are in the early stages of pregnancy, you may not even need a maternity dress and instead will just need to buy a dress that is a few sizes bigger than your normal figure.
Why not cut down on the organising and make your life easier by having a wedding shower and baby shower in one. This makes things easier on you and your guests and allows you to enjoy both wonderful events at the same time.
Whatever choice you make remember that it doesn’t have to be one or the other and that both occasions can be celebrated together.

The average population take a fancy car to their wedding day. But that begs the question. How would you get to your wedding?

Would you as I said above, take the fanciest sports car you could find to rent for the day?

Or would you take your dads old classic car in a sign of respect and to do something a bit different?

I came accross this idea the other day which is definatly something worth looking into.

You know services such as the Air Ambulance or just a regular ambulance, fire engine or police car. Well there are a few companies which take these old service vehicles and use them for things like function nights, hen and stag events, corperate events and other such uses.

They basically gut them out and dress them up like your standard party style limo, complete with DVDs, loud music, many neon colours etc.

They look to be the perfect way for you to stand out from the crowd.

Imagine landing at your wedding in an air ambulance with sirens and spotlights and everything. It would definatly get your guests stirred up!

Check it out – I don’t have any specific places for these services, but if you search on the usual search engines I’m sure you will come accross some decent companies offering the above near you!

In this day and age, it is becoming the norm, for the wealthy to find themsleves a trophy wife.

And were not literally talking about trophies shaped as women either!

It seems common place that stars now don’t mind their wifes taking large proportions of their wealth after divorce.

Sometimes it makes you wonder whether the wifes are being clever, becoming the trophy wife or whether or not these guys intend for this outcome to happen, but don’t seem to mind?

It’s a tough question. Does anybody know any successful oddly matched marriages in showbiz?

What about Catheron Zeta Jones? Or maybe they divorced many years ago and no ones actually found out yet. Or maybe not.

If a pair divorces who gets the pet dog? This is one of the questions I’ve always wondered. Do you do what you do with your kids and split the week up into weekdays and weekends for visiting privilidges?

Or do you think, wait this is a dog, this is too far.

Who knows. All I know is that I wouldn’t marry someone just for their looks. Just their money. :P

Sounds nice already doesn’t it?

When you say Galapagos, you think of the sea, the sand, the vast blue skies with residents telling you they had no idea what coulds were.

Galapagos and Galapagos tours are now one of the most  popular destinations for newly weds.

Thousands flock out their to enjoy their well earn’t time off from everything to focus on themselves.

Picture the scene.

You are lying on your giant cosey bed. The window to the side of you is positioned in such a way that invites your eyes through them. The breeze is gently swaying the branches of the palm tree’s, that drape sections of the sun out of your view.

Your wife/husband is out on the beach front enticing you out onto the sand.

This is where you want to spend your time, and according to the majority they agree with me also.

If you plan the honeymoon correctly and in plenty of time, there are a lot of deals and cheap flights to be had. If you book outside of school holidays, which is very important, then the costs are even less.

Just remember to take the time off work, you might come back tanned more than leather, but you might not have a job anymore!

The boxing themed wedding got me thinking.

What else could you do in the form of dress codes to spice the event up.

Obviously you would have to make sure you don’t look like the stag or hen night with “just married t shirts” or whatever, but I’m sure there are a few themes which could be done properly.

How about everyone was given the dress code. Yes, they could get given the clothes to wear from say a Promotional Clothing company and everyone could have matching themed jackets and what not.

You can just see it now. Everyone in smart dinner jackets, but the jackets being bright pink with giant bunnies plastered all over the front and back.

Well maybe not the above, but you get the idea.

Everyone sticks to traditional religious weddings, which don’t get me wrong, isn’t going to change any time soon, but you could stand out from the crowd and go a little Vegas on your big day.

If you aren’t religious, then why stick to the religious themes?

If this idea of wedding was up to me, I’d get everyone wearing dresses, including the men, then after the actual wedding, get them to go to a random bar in town and see what happens!
