Chelsea midfielder Michael Ballack has married with his long-term girlfriend Simone Lambe.

They celebrated their nuptial on Monday at the Bavarian Yacht club on the shore of Lake Starnberg after getting married in a register office.

Bride wore a strapless white wedding gown decorated with crystals and feathers.

Michael Ballack was smartly dressed in a grey suit and lilac tie, while bridesmaids wore sky-blue floor-length dresses.

They met ten years ago when Michael walked into the restaurant where his wife was working. He described the moment as love at first sight.

The couple now live in west London and have three young sons; Jordi, Emilio and Louis.
