After months of preparation, England footballer Wayne Rooney has tied the knot with his girlfriend Coleen McLoughlin.

They wed in a twenty minute civil ceremony in the Villa Durazzo in Santa Margherita Ligure on June 12th. Deputy mayor Gianni Costa performed the ceremony. He said that It was a simple ceremony with around 15 people inside, mostly family. The bride looked lovely in white and the groom wore a brown suit with no tie. It was a very simple ceremony and no rings were exchanged.

The bride changed into a £100,000 Marchesa dress for the blessing and wedding breakfast at hillside abbey La Cervara. The couple have paid £400,000 to Irish pop group Westlife to sing at the reception.

The exclusive rights to the wedding photography were secured by OK! Magazine for £2.5 million.

It has been reported that Wayne Rooney and Coleen have spent £300,000 on their wedding reception venue.

The celebrity couple have hired the world’s largest, the three-deck Alysia, charter yacht.

The wedding ceremony will take place in a 16th century castle overlooking the Italian Riviera.

An insider told the newspaper that the yacht is the perfect party venue and really luxurious. It has a Jacuzzi, honeymoon suite, chess room and helipad.

The source said that at midnight, £50,000 of fireworks will be released and gu0ests will toast the newlywed couple with pink champagne. Meanwhile the bride-to-be has spent his stag weekend celebrating with friends and family in Ibiza.

Coleen will wear her own fragrance to her wedding this month.

She will scent herself with Coleen X, the perfume she launched last year, as it is one of Wayne Rooney’s favourite smells. A source said that Wayne helped her choose the ingredients when she was in the development process.

Meanwhile, Wayne Rooney, the groom-to-be is currently enjoying his stag party in Ibiza with his 16 friends. They are enjoying four days of sun, sea and partying before Wayne ties the knot.

The group have embarked on a big night out in San Antonio and spent the day relaxing aboard a luxury yacht complete with bar and DJ. They are staying in a £20,000 a week rented villa.

Former Celebrity Big Brother star and musician Preston has reportedly become re-engaged to his former fiancée. He has been spotted with Camile Aznar, who he dumped for his TV co-star Chantelle Houghton.

According to the News, Camille was sporting a diamond ring on her wedding finger. Described to the publication by a passer by as sparkling and very beautiful, it is thought that the ring is sign of Preston’s re-commitment to Camille.

The bill includes £100,000 on pre-wedding celebrations, £400,000 to hire the West life for the evening and £200,000 for Coleen’s wedding dress.

Guests will be flown to Italy in private planes and once there, they will be treated to four days of celebrations including a champagne breakfasts, masked ball and luxury yacht trips.

Speaking to a newspaper, an insider said that it is excessive, but so is Wayne’s wealth and he wants to share it and its important time for him and Coleen as it’s only going to be happen once so they want it to be perfect.
