The latest celebrity rumours circulating say that former Bond girl Halle Berry may be engaged to her boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.

According to the news, the 42-year-old Academy Award-winner actress has been spotted wearing a diamond ring on her engagement finger when she was out and about in Los Angeles.

Halle Berry star gave birth to her first child with Gabriel, in March this year at a hospital in Los Angeles.

It was reported that she went all out when it came to decorating her home for the new arrival; she spent an estimated $60,000 on baby furniture and other nursery items.

A piece of late Princess Diana’s wedding cake is set to be auctioned, after being found in a former staff member’s attic.

The cake piece which is wrapped up in a metal tin was given to Moyra Smith. Moyra Smith was a former servant of the Queen Mother, who passed away last month.

According to the experts, the piece of cake, could reach a value of £20,000 at auction. It is accompanied by a personal letter from Princess Diana herself.

The Diana memorabilia specialist auctioneer Chris Albury said that this piece is special because it was from the cake sent to the Queen Mother at Clarence House.

Fashion designer Christina Fulton has announced her engagement to musician Stian Thoresen.

The former girlfriend of famous actor Nicholas Cage is going to marry the frontman of heavy metal band Dimmu Borgir, Thoresen. They will marry in a private sunset wedding ceremony in Prekestolen, Norway on 20^th of September.

She is the mother of Cage’s 17-year-old son Weston C Cage, who is also an actor.

Christina’s son Weston said that fate brought the two together and it’s absolute romance.

The guest list includes Jim Carrey, Patricia Arquette and Nicholas Cage himself.

Patricia Arquette was Nicholas Cage’s first wife. They married in April 1995 and divorced in 2001.

I was reading an interview in which the newly married couple described their experience with their own wedding. They said that their big day went very smoothly, although it dragged a little in the morning as they didn’t get married until 4PM and were feeling impatient. They described their big day in detail telling each and every bit of their wedding day. They even described the theme and colours of their wedding day and the meal they served to their guests.

But the most interesting point of the interview for me was when they were asked to give any advice to other brides and grooms to be out there.

Apparently, they were gutted to find that the battery on their camcorder ran out partway through the wedding, so they missed some parts of it!  Needless to say, their top advice tip was to have at least one spare camcorder battery when you’re filming a wedding, because you could end up missing the most important part, as happened to them. So for anybody out there who is planning to get married note this advice.  How gutted would you be to find that you missed a special bit.  Hopefully you will only get married once so be sure to get your camcorder at the ready, with a fully charged battery, and treasure every moment!

Australian cricketer Michael Clarke has to set a wedding date with his fiance Lara Bingle.

The 27-year-old Australia batsman has been engaged to model Lara, 21, since March this year but due to work commitments they have found little time to decide on a date.

Michael Clarke said that they are trying to find time. Lara is pretty busy with her stuff and so as Michael with so much cricket coming on. He said that they have to sit down and talk about it and hopefully they will do in next few days or weeks.

According to the Halifax Travel Insurance, as more hotels now offer competitive wedding packages, it has become more accessible to many couples to marry abroad, specially the ones who looking for something a little different for their big day.

In celebrities the current trend of choosing to tie the knot abroad is providing inspiration for brides and grooms-to-be, who want a less traditional but glamorous affair.

Figures show that financial fetters imposed by the credit crunch have not put people off planning their dream wedding.

The editor of Wedding Ideas Magazine Rachel Moschke, said that couples are simply cutting back on costs by doing a lot of the work themselves, rather than cancelling their weddings,

The credit crunch is not stopping people getting married at al. It’s such an important day, but it is really important to concentrate on the couple.

National Cost of a Wedding Survey 2008 by You & Your Wedding magazine found that the average cost of a wedding currently stands at over £20,000.

A mother-to-be stands to win £1,600 on a bet that predicts her baby will be born on the same day as hers and her husband’s birthday.

Faye Colquhoun and husband Gregor both from Scotland, were given the due date of August 10th, but placed a bet of £100 at 15-1 that their baby would be born late.

The new parents will win the payout if their baby born on Friday August 15th – which is the date of their birthdays.

Faye said that she has never put a bet on before in her life. But every time she told someone she hoped that the baby would have the same birthday as theirs.
