Ethan Hawke has secretly married with his girlfriend Ryan Shawhughes, it has been revealed.

Ethan is expecting his first child with the former nanny. He kept all of his wedding plans a secret for a number of weeks now, a magazine report.

A representative for the star said that they were married last month in New York City. However, no other details have been given.

At the end of last year an insider said that Ethan and Ryan were incredibly in love.

This news came just weeks after Ethan’s ex-wife Uma Thurman has announced her engagement to Swiss multimillionaire Arpad Busson.
