A guy dropped the engagement ring while he was proposing his girlfriend on Brooklyn Bridge in New York.

Don Walling got down on one knee and proposed the girlfriend Gina Pellicani but seems like he got confused and he dropped the ring on the pedestrian walkway of Brooklyn Bridge in New York.

Don walling braved and went down to the lower span to collect the ring but he was greeted by police who thought that he is going to suicide. But when he assure police that he is there to retrieve the ring he was greeted by police who thought he was about to jump.

Police has stopped the traffic and Don was able to retrieve the ring with the help of passers by. The couple is now planning to marry in April 2004.
