A couple have paid for their honeymoon by collecting rubbish and recycling it, this way the helped planet as well.

John and Ann Till have realised that they could convert Tesco clubcard points into air miles, so they started collecting bottles and cans and deposited them in exchange for points.

Within few months the couple had earned enough air miles to fly to the US and promptly had their wedding in their Hampshire hometown of Petersfield.

They sailed to New York on the Queen Mary 2 and also visited Colorado, Denver, and Nashville.

Mr John Till told the newspaper that they wanted to make their honeymoon special and were trying to think of ways to raise money for it.
