Coleen and Wayne Rooney’s wedding have been voted as the Most Tasteful Celebrity Wedding.

The poll, rated their wedding above that of Hollywood stars Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

The Cruises’ 2006 ceremony was followed by Billie Piper and Laurence Fox’s New Year’s Eve.

Prince Charles and Camilla Parker and Madonna and Guy Richie’s weddings came in fourth and fifth place respectively. Style expert Maria Loannou told the magazine that it was the fact Rooney and Coleen kept their wedding subtle and classy that made it a winner with the public. She said that their wedding was total surprise to everyone.
